Nowadays, anti-dumping gradually become an useful trade remedy which is recognized by many nations all over the world. Especially, in the circumstance of reducing in tariff barrier and improving the trade liberalization, anti-dumping which is considered as legal and useful method of protecting domestic industries become an important tool for many countries to restrict import from other countries.Since Vietnam economy's reforming and opening up taking in 1986, Vietnam has remained a stable and rapid growth of economy which moves towards market orientation, especially the fast growth in export is a sign of opening policy's achievement. The success of reform and opening up in Vietnam speeded up the economic integration to the global market and has also brought more new challenges such as trade protection and non-tariff barriers.From 1994 to the end of 2009, Vietnam suffered from 35 cases of anti-dumping, in which 21 cases were judged as anti-dumping measures. That gave many great affects to Vietnam's economy especially foreign trade.As a Vietnamese foreign student of international trade major in China, I begin to pay attention to issues of anti dumping in Vietnam, and overcome the difficulty of the foreign language to write this thesis.In this research, I will first analyze the economic structure and real situation of anti-dumping in Vietnam, and discuss about the reasons and effects which against to export of anti-dumping cases. Then, I will refer some experiences from other countries like China to put forward some useful proposals for dealing with anti-dumping investigations from foreign countries in order to promote the development of economy, and speed up the process of integration to global market.
