The realization of the overall performance of the organization relies on performance of employee, the purpose of the human resource management is to achieve organizational goals through improving the staffs performance. The relevant researches of career management indicate that career management will have a positive impact on the staffs psychology and behavior. Especially, knowledge workers, because of their own characteristics, pay more attention to their career development than the general staff. In view of this, the study selects knowledge employees as the research object, Probing into career management impact on work performance, and intermediary role of organizational commitment between career management and work performance. Then hope to improve the relevant theoretical system at least to some extent and provide basis and guidance for the practice of business and management.The paper proposes research model and assumptions through reviewing literature summary and Combing theory of career management, organizational commitment and job performance. The research regards 142 knowledge workers from different enterprises in wuhan as sample, investigating into their perception of professional career management, organizational commitment and job performance. Then analyze and sort out the relevant data collected, test the research hypotheses, and propose suggestions with practical reference for managers on this basis.Main research of the paper conclusions are as follows:1.Organization career management is more strongly related to Work performance; Training, career awareness and providing information have significant positive influence on Task performance; Training, fair promotion and career awareness have significant positive influence on contextual performance.2.Organization career management is more strongly related to organizational commitment; Fair promotion, Training, providing information and career awareness have significant positive influence on organizational commitment.3.Organizational commitment is more strongly related to Work performance; Organizational commitment have significant positive influence on Task performance and contextual performance.4.Organizational commitment have partly mediation on which organization career management affects Work performance; Organizational commitment have partly intermediate function on which Training, career awareness and providing information affect Task performance; Organizational commitment have partly intermediate function on which raining, fair promotion and career awareness affect contextual performance.
