With the developing of economic globalization and the changing of world economic environment, the East Asian economies gradually reach an agreement to deepen regional economic cooperation and promote the integration of East-Asian economy, and begin to accelerate the pace of institutional cooperation between countries. Facing the transform of the integration in East Asia from regionalization to regionalism, china which has closely connection with East Asia on political, economic and cultural is bound to re-examine itself in the position of regional economic integration and the making of its regional strategies, in order to form a Mutually promote pattern between the growth of its economic and the development of regionalism in East Asia. The first chapter is an introduction part of the background and significance of the research paper, research status, research ideas and methods, and innovation. The second chapter is the theoretical basis of regional economic integration. This part analyses the concept and the development of regionalization and regionalism and points out that the regionalization and regionalism are two forms of regional economic integration. They have differences as well as links and they run through the process of regional economic integration, productive and complementary. Combined the diversity and difference of East Asia with the theory analysis of regionalization and regionalism, the third chapter investigates the essence and development of East Asia economic integration. First, through the analysis of trade, investment, data among East Asian economies and the evolution of regional production network, this part investigate the development of regionalization in East Asia. Second, from the asymmetry which appears during the economic cooperation of East Asia and the defects in the financial system, this part explain the inevitability of the transform of the integration in East Asia from regionalization to regionalism. The forth chapter through analyzing the data of economic and trade dealings between China and East Asia points out that the economic influence of china in East Asia has increased. China not only becomes the strong absorbent of middle products in East Asia, also products trade, but also the largest absorption of foreign direct investment. The circulation range of RMB in the region expands and it acts as a potential regional anchor currency role to some extent. This proves that china has the ability to become the engine and stabilizer of East Asia. The fifth chapter synthesizes the analysis of earlier chapters and come up with the regional strategy of china. Firstly, properly handle the relationship with Japan and ASEAN to promote the regionalism in East Asia. Secondly, make use of its economic development to ameliorate the asymmetry appeared in economic cooperation of East Asia, in order to stabilize the regional economy. Thirdly, strengthen the cultural identity of East Asia to enhance regional awareness, then to promote the development of the regionalism in East Asia. Fourthly, promote the cooperation in energy security to alleviate the increasingly intense political conflict caused by competition for energy, then to stabilize and promote the achievements of integration of East-Asian economy.
