| Scholars and officers eager to discuss that where the East Asia regionalism is going onafter "East Asia summit" was held in 2005 and 2006. Recently East Asia regionalismprocess was described as "non-EastAsialization" and "openness" because of theadvent of the "10+6" cooperation pattern. Other scholars even call such pattern "openregionalism". The thesis attempts to establish the relation between the "openregionalism" and "East Asia regional integration process".Firstly the thesis makes an effort to clarify the concept of the "open regionalism" andabstracts several substantiation factors from the case of Asia-pacific economiccooperation, then takes these factors to support the point that currently East Asiaregionalism process follows the pattern of the "open regionalism". The thesis alsoexpatiates on the reason of "East Asia open regionalism" by analyzing what is theexternal and internal causes lead to the substantiation factors display in East Asia.At the last chapter, the thesis discusses three important issues in regional integrationprocess and analyzes the prospect of "East Asia open regionalism", then points outwhat strategy China government adopts will be better to manage "East Asia openregionalism". |
