In the 30 years, from the reform and opening up, Chinese household appliance industry has undergone many important events, such as massive expansion, the competition for market with foreign brands, raw material prices, mergers and acquisitions boom, home appliances to rural areas and so on. Today, China's household appliances companies seek to enter the e-commerce market. The competition among the enterprises has shifted from the traditional tangible market to the virtual network market. The large appliance manufacturers and retailers establish enterprise portals to carry out e-commerce trade activities. While, the SMS enterprises make use of the third-party platform to carry out the e-commerce trade activities, hoping to reduce the cost and increase profits by e-commerce. In the background, studying the e-commerce application of our household appliance industry has certain directive meaning for the household appliances enterprise to carry out e-commerce activities.This paper aims to find out the e-commerce application of Chinese household appliance industry, analyzing the problems in the process of application and give the enterprises appropriate strategies for e-commerce application.This paper includes the following six sections:The first chapter is the introduction. It mainly introduces the research background, research values, the main contents and the research features and innovations.The second chapter explains the related theories and concepts in e-commerce. It includes the overview of e-commerce and the terms related to the concept of e-commerce applications which is used as the theoretical basis for the household appliance industry in e-commerce applications.The third chapter analyzes the current situation of e-commerce application of household appliance industry. Firstly, the author introduces the current situation of Chinese household appliance industry, the definition of the household appliance industry and the overview of development in household appliances industry. Secondly, the author introduces the source of internet research data and statistical methods; Thirdly, the author analyzes the overall situation of e-commerce application of household appliance industry; Finally, the author analyzes specific circumstances of indicators of e-commerce application of household appliance industry. The fourth chapter analyzes the existing problems of e-commerce application in household appliances industry. This chapter mainly analyzes data from the third chapter, and concludes some objective questions in e-commerce application of our household appliances industry.The fifth Chapter summarizes the strategies of e-commerce application in household appliance industry. This chapter analyzes the problems which are proposed from the fourth chapter, and gives appropriate strategies to the household appliance enterprises combining with the development of e-commerce.The sixth chapter is the summary and the prospect. It mainly clarifies the reason for writing this paper, the main work and the disadvantages.
