Informal Institutions In Human Consumption Of Rural Families

In china, Human consumption in the daily life of rural residents is the important consumption expenditure. But it with food, the clothing, the housing and other consumption expenditure also have the difference. The notion of "human consumption" and the corresponding behavior rooted deeply in Chinese historical legacy, it has gradually developed into the self-evident "working rule" governing interpersonal interaction in history, and human consumption is an important means of maintaining interpersonal relationship for the Chinese nation. Individuals learn it all in an unconscious way and the society as a whole even accepts it as a living principle. With the development of the rural economy and improvement of the living standard, Human consumption increases continuously and human consumption expenditure has become the daily life of a new economic burden.Researching on the human consumption is involved with economics, sociology, psychology, political science and other fields. Based on the Economics Theories, we focus on the human consumption which is widespread in China's rural unique society through the period of social transition in attempt to seeking on the social causes, describing their specific course of the operation and function. The author attempts to understand family human consumption through institution hence outlines the theoretical framework of this study, which adapting the perspective of informal institutions and the transaction costs paradigm, attemps to explain about this universal phenomenon of rural human consumption, Which sum up research results of economics, sociology, anthropology and political science and other disciplines to study. In order to explain human expenditure and transaction cost between the internal causality. Thus causes display the human expenditure to save the transaction cost as the core informal institutions——"the soft system" the function of theory more persuasive, explanatory power. This article is based on that, this study was an empirical research on a case of a rural villages of Henan province, the aim of the study on human consumption is to describe its status and trends, which produces and long-standing reason, influencing factors and functions. Find that its role has not been simply giving of gifts, but playing a more economic and social functions, these changes can't run without its rural informal institutional environment. For one hand, this explanation is benefitical to optimize the farmers' consumption structure and improve the farmers'consumption level. For the other hand, it is valueable to promote consumption harmony and build a harmonious society.Study shows that human consumption not only needs to be correctly guided rather than to be eliminated, but also needs to be promoted urbanization and accelerated the flow of farmers further. At the same time, human consumption needs to establish the rural market operation system. Only in this way can farmers'behavior gradually walk to the market-oriented, law-rization and contract-rization track.
