The Study Of Senior Managers' Implicit Leadership Trait-factors In High-tech Aviation Enterprise

Implicit leadership theory is used for exploring the cognitive structure of leadership which is in the bottom of peoples'heart. This structure having existed in the minds of people in certain form contains not only what the leader is, but also what the leader should be. It will be motivated when people and leaders interact each other. Implicit leadership theory provides the method of recruitment, training, evaluation and selection for leadership. At present, more and more people at home and abroad research on implicit leadership theory, but few engage in empirical study of specific industry. Here, we study the senior managers'implicit leadership structure in high-tech enterprise of aviation. The details and results are as follows:Firstly, use the exploratory factor analysis method to build senior manager's implicit leadership model in high-tech aviation enterprise. The eight dimensional model are: values, learning and innovation, achievement motivation, decision execution, good faith cooperation, macro-thinking, influence and good staffing.Secondly, use the confirmatory factor analysis method to verify the above model. We get that the model qualified goodness of fit index is reasonable. Thirdly, use the variance analysis method to explore the impact of gender, professionalbackground, age, length of tenure and education on senior manager's implicit leadership structure in high-tech aviation enterprise. The results show that gender and education are differenced in learning and innovation; length of tenure is differenced in influence.Finally, based on the DEA method and senior manager's implicit leadership model, supply a example for the performance appraisal of senior managers.
