Study On The Exportation Competitive Ability Of Zhejiang Textile Industry

Textile industry is one of the important industries that export goods to earn foreign currency. The promotion of international competitiveness of textile industy is meaningful for the development of foreign trade. Zhejiang is a productive province in textile,and its export of textile ranks first in the country. Textile industry is one of traditional competitive industries in Zhejiang Province,playing an important role in Zhejiang's national economic development.To study the international competitiveness of Zhejiang's textile industy could let us better understand its status and development potential.With global textile trade coming into"post quote time", Zhejiang's textile industry will meet great developing opportunity;meanwhile it will also have to face more extensive and complicated competition.In the new situation,how to keep and upgrade the industry's export competitiveness continuously not only has relation with the durative development of Zhejiang Province's economic,but also is important to the durative and steady development of our country's textile industry.On the base of analyzing the production and trade status of Zhejiang's textiles, adopting trade competitive index and revealed comparative advantage index, the export competitiveness of Zhejiang textile industry. And then comprehensively analysized the factors from several perspectives, using principal components analysis method , at last some suggestions and strategies to improve the industries of Zhejiang textiles and apparel are given.
