In the modern market economy, small and medium-sized enterprises are not only the main part of the market economy but also the resource of it vitality. In China, Small and medium-sized enterprises are playing a more and more important role in stabilizing the ecomomy growth, easing the unemployment pressure, improving citizen income as well as promoting technological progress. Key employees are essential supporters of enterprises'core competitive power. They are scarce and strategical resource. Compensation as one of the most important part of human resource encouragement mechanism can be decisive in attracting, keeping and encouraging talents as well as in the realizing of the human capital efficiency and enterprises'sustainable development. In order to cultivate and improve core competitive power, small and medium-sized enterprises must attach importance to compensation encouragement to key employees. Based on the status quo of international and domestic research and take the full compensation strategy as the perspective, this article employs encouraging theory and compensation theory to analyze the current situation of key employees'compensation encouragement in small and medium-sized enterprises and its problems and causes systematically. The core thinking of the analysis is to solve actual problems existing through the adopting of complete compensation strategy. In order to make this solution more feasible and deepen my research at the same time, this article puts forward a complete compensation system and applying methods aiming at the key employees in China's small and medium-sized enterprises according to encouraging theory and complete compensation theory. There are in total six parts in this article, their respective content is as follows:The first part, introduction. This part introduces researching background, goal and significance and establishes the content of research, train of thought, research methods as well as the important, difficult and creative parts.The second part, document review. Try to define related concepts by reviewing and analyzing documents. Knowing well the newest trends in international and domestic research and summing up correlation theories of predecessors. Providing total compensation system with theory support.The third part, the current situation of key employees'compensation encouragement in small and medium-sized enterprises and its problems and causes. Try to analyze the current situation of key employees'compensation encouragement in small and medium-sized enterprises and its problems and causes qualitatively according to descriptive statistics.The forth part, the improving method of compensation encouragement of key employees in small and medium-sized enterprises. To put forward corresponding improving method directing at the still existing problems in compensation encouragement of key employees in small and medium-sized enterprises.The fifth part, the put forward and application of total compensation system of the compensation encouragement of key employees in small and medium-sized enterprises. According to the result of actual investigation and survey and relevant theory, try to put forward a resaonable total compensation system aiming at the compensation encouragement of key employees in small and medium-sized enterprises and give out application surgestions.The sixth part, research results and surggestions for further research. Summarizing the main content and results of this research and give out suggestions for further research.
