The main features of global warming, climate change, survival and development of human society has brought a serious impact, a common human society is facing serious challenges, in order to save mankind from the threat of global warming, 192 countries from around the world and regions attended the 2009 Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, at which governments are position and declared the 2020 emission reduction targets. Therefore, to reduce carbon emissions and reduce greenhouse for the purpose of low-carbon plan is imperative, urgent development of a low carbon economy. Paper focuses on the perspective of promotion of low carbon building development, in order to achieve effective to promote and facilitate the resolution of the issue of carbon emissions, so as to contribute to curbing global warming, and thus how to better promote and develop the low carbon buildings significant.Article describes the global warming impact to society, the definition of low carbon buildings and characteristics of the development of low carbon building the necessity and urgency. Low carbon buildings in the development and practical application at home and abroad as a guide, using a combination of theoretical and practical methods, systems analysis, qualitative and quantitative analysis, game theory and other methods, the system analyzes the development of low carbon building barriers in China factors, namely: weak public awareness, policy mechanisms, technical issues, financial issues, the four factors, combined with China's actual conditions, to focus on the construction of the development of low carbon concrete measures and suggestions to the development of our country identify barriers to low carbon building for relevant government departments to provide reference for decision-making.
