The Low-Carbon Economy From The Perspective Of Historical Materialism

Climate warming, ecological crisis, exhausting of resources and energy, human beings are bearing with a series of survival predicaments and development challenges. Thus low-carbon economy arises at the historic moment. Currently, the research of low-carbon economy is involving in economy, politics, science, technology, culture, consumer psychology, ecological ethics, and other fields. Marxism has a kind of theoretical quality that marches with time, Historical Materialism is an open, developing scientific theories. Low-carbon economy raise new issues, new requirements on study of Historical Materialism, in the new domain re-reflection and thinking existing framework and concepts, combine inheritance and innovation, which is conducive to enriching and developing Historical Materialism. The study of Marxist philosophy can be advanced to a new level. Based on this, this paper attempts a new perspective, that is, the perspective of Marxist Historical Materialism, analysis the essence and the future impacts of low-carbon economy. The first chapter is an introduction of the article, describes the background, significance, research methods, innovations, literature review of the paper. Chapter II shows the rising background, development process, concept and features of the low-carbon economy. Chapter III demonstrates the possibility and necessity of the low-carbon economy to Historical Materialism. Chapter IV Interpretation the low-carbon economy from the perspective of Historical Materialism. My research suggests that the low-carbon economic relations a new location between man and nature, a new change in consumption patterns, a new path of human overall development, a new form of ecological civilization, a new restructuring of political discourse; Drawing on the experiences of other countries, chapter V proposes China's development path choices of low-carbon economy.
