In business management, people are the most important resource, and for the management of people, is also the most difficult for managers to grasp one of the things effectively. At present, the quality of employees has not yet formed a fixed structural model, quality of employees and organizational performance are difficult to quantify, resulting in most cases, there are strong subjective in most staff quality appraisal and lack the orientation of employee performance. Because the characteristics of the quality of staff,the relationship between staff quality and performance are implicit relations,therefore, to find out what staff quality close to staff performance is very necessary for human resource managers and corporate leaders.This paper systematically studied the ideas and methods of the staff quality evaluation index system construction process, used the rough set theory to evaluate the index system, established the quality of the staff evaluation system based on rough set; studied the association between staff quality and performance, used decision tree to quantify the correlation of staff quality and performance, excavated the deep relationship between staff quality and performance. Under the support of the project:"staff quality assessment system of a power unit in Sichuan Province", used Correlation analysis of the quality and performance for employees, achieved scientific assessment of the quality of staff, and cleared the correlation of the performance and staff quality. This study mainly as follows:Firstly, the paper has explained the purpose and significance of topics, based on the research status of correlation analysis of staff quality and performance at home and abroad, summarized the current research problems, and proposed the content and method of this study.Next, the paper has described the basic theory of correlation analysis of staff quality and performance. On the basis of the study of basic theory, the paper has proposed the staff quality assessment index system model on the basis of rough set and the staff quality and performance correlation analysis model on the basis of the decision tree. the paper has used the staff quality assessment index system model on the basis of rough set and the staff quality and performance correlation analysis model on the basis of the decision tree in the staff quality assessment system of a power unit in Sichuan Province, to achieve the scientific assessment of the staff quality, defined the correlation of staff quality and performance, and verified the validity of two models.At last, the paper has summarized the full-text, and proposed the direction of future research.
