The Comparative Research On The Kitchen God Of The Han Nationality And The Southern Minority Nationalities

Folk belief is a universal phenomenon of popular culture, exists in any nation, any society period, any country. China has kept thousands years of civilization although the constant progress of the times never stop, but the folk belief didn't disappear in the long river of history, but the strong vitality is rooted in people's consciousness. Popular belief in God is an important part of Chinese folk religion and has a close relationship with the Chinese people's lives. The Kitchen God, the Door God, the God of Wealth, the God of Happiness and other folk gods all have connections with the people's daily activities. Kitchen God has a long history and man's life is inseparable from the kitchen from ancient times. The early man use intuitive awareness to get to know things around and the spirits of all phenomena, generated by the Kitchen God at that time, faith and nature worship are closely linked. The progress of civilization, man-made religion and the Kitchen God were absorbed and held together and make the Kitchen God faith becoming an important part of Chinese culture.This paper introduced the simple faith on the Kitchen God's and the existed research in this subject. On the bases of previous studies, I combined the works recorded on the Kitchen God Belief with field survey data, and compare them at the aspects of the Han and the Southern minorities ethnic origin of the Kitchen God, the image of God to stripped out the influence of the original of the Kitchen God Worship Kitchen God Belief on China's people today.Kitchen God between the Han and South minority, The first chapter expound the influence of the sun worship and fire worship on different nationalities and believe that the southern minority and Han origins have the same source in the Kitchen God. As time went by, the Southern Minorities absorbed the Han Chinese cultural essence so the Southern Minorities have their own origin in the Kitchen God. The second chapter is based on the comparison of the image of the Kitchen God to explain all the processes and causes of each image of the Kitchen God. The third chapter mainly compares the godhead of the Kitchen Gods and analyzes the differences of the Kitchen God godhead in all ethnic groups. The fourth chapter reveals the true faith of God vulgar psychology of Chinese people through comparing different mentality and attitude about belief. The fifth chapter got the idea that Han got less integrity than national minorities in inheriting the faith of Kitchen God by comparing means of inheriting the Kitchen God faith. In the comparative study, we found that Han people are far beyond the minority in the process of evolution of Kitchen God faith. The sixth chapter is the last section of this article. It sees society status of Kitchen God belief in modern China mainly through comparing the influence of their Kitchen God believes on different regions of Chinese culture.
