Research On Tourism Utilization Of National Intangible Cultural Heritage In Shaanxi Province

Intangible cultural heritage is a treasure for all mankind. But because it is mainly passed down by mouth, it has variability and vulnerability and it is likely to be endangered by the changing times. There are a large number of intangible cultural heritages in China. How to effectively protect and utilize intangible cultural heritage has become a reality problem of public attention. Therefore, how to properly treat the intangible cultural heritage and identify the affecting factors is very important.In recent years, non-heritage tourism began to develop rapidly in China, but many problems emerged and led to damage of intangible cultural heritage, which attracted the attention of the academic community. Therefore, how to enhance tourism utilization activation while ensuring the authenticity of non-heritage tourism is in urgent need to be addressed.In view of this, from the protection endangerment and utilization activation,on the basis of literature research and the characteristics of intangible cultural heritage, this paper built the evaluation index system of protection endangerment and utilization activation to enrich the theoretical research on non-heritage tourism. With national non-heritage tourism in Shaanxi Province as the research object and guided by the non-heritage protection endangerment and utilization activation model, it carried out IPA analysis and put forward non-heritage tourism utilization model for Shaanxi Province, which provided some practical significance to non-heritage tourism development.The following conclusions were drawn:(1) This study constructed intangible cultural heritage protection endangerment index system, including selecting and determining 5 comprehensive layer indexes and 19 project layer indexes. The weight distribution in construction of the intangible cultural heritage protection endangerment evaluation system is as follows:inheritance situation, its own value, cultural change, technology upgrades and natural environment. Later 62 national non-heritage items in Shaanxi Province were rated, and the results of the assessment can be roughly classified into three levels:high endangerment, medium endangerment and low endangerment.(2) This study constructed the intangible cultural heritage utilization activation index system, including selecting and determining 5 comprehensive layer indexes and 12 project layer indexes. The weight distribution in construction of the intangible cultural heritage utilization activation evaluation system is as follows:activation resource, activation inheritance situation, activation environmental quality as well as activation capital investment and activation policy support tied for fourth. Later 62 national non-heritage items in Shaanxi Province were rated, and the results of the assessment can be roughly classified into three levels:high activation, medium activation and low activation.(3) Based on rating scores of national intangible cultural heritage in Shaanxi Province in protection endangerment and utilization activation, IPA analysis was carried out on 62 national non-heritage items in Shaanxi Provinces. It concluded that 17 items were in the first quadrant--area of continuing efforts,12 items were in the second quadrant--area of letting nature take its course,18 items were in the third quadrant--area of low priority improvement, and 15 items were in the fourth quadrant-- area of major improvement.(4) Based on the results of IPA analysis, the non-heritage tourism utilization mode in Shaanxi was summarized as theme deepening development model, layered protection development model, authenticity protection development model and principal cause activation development mode, and the utilization method of each mode was introduced with examples.The innovation of this research is that based on the characteristics of non-heritage tourism, it constructed the protection endangerment and utilization activation conceptual model and evaluation index system, and combined quantitative and qualitative analysis by determining the index weight. From the perspective of protection endangerment and utilization activation, it constructed the non-heritage tourism utilization mode for Shaanxi Province and analyzed with examples, which has a certain practical reference value.
