With the deepening of reform and opening, the changes in the domestic and foreign economic situation, and the development of rural economy, the "SAN nong" issue has been increasingly essential to China's economic development. "The countryside, agriculture and farmers" problem, if not handled appropriately, will hamper Chinese economy even other factors develop well. On the other hand, the "SAN nong" issue is closely linked with rural microcredit. Microfinance in China has a history of twenty years since 1990s. Practice has proved that it is an effective means to assist the poor and accelerate rural economic development. Despite its effectiveness, microfinance is still in slow pace in China. Henan is the one of China's biggest agricultural province. So the rural microcredit development in Henan is the barometer of the whole situation in China. This article demonstrates current situation of rural microcredit in Henan through case study on the performance assessment of rural microcredit in Nanzhao, Henan. This article is divided into eight chapters. The first chapter presents background, progress, content, methods, and innovation of this research. Chapter 2 introduces the progress of rural microcredit in China and Henan. Chapter 3 demonstrates evidence that support our theory. Chapter 4 briefly illustrates the principle and analysis involved in the system analytic hierarchy process, the balanced score card and multivariate linear regression model. Chapter 5 analyzes the performance assessment of Nanzhao microcredit in the Nanzhao District, which implies the situation in the whole Henan. Based on the system analytic hierarchy process model in the last chapter and balanced score card model, Chapter 6 analyzes the performance assessment of assist-the-poor community in Nanzhao, thus reflecting the whole situation in Henan. Chapter 7 uses a questionnaire, which mainly focuses on peasant farmer household within the poor community in Nanzhao, and analyze performance assessment of rural microfinance by the representative multiple linear regression model.
