This paper gains probe and insight into the Project Financing of Chinese Overseas Engineering Contract Enterprises. Centering around this key problem: the financing of our domestic enterprises to extend their overseas business, this thesis propose applying the project financing as the countermeasure to solve the problem in question on the basis of the analysis to the current situation of the growth of Chinese Overseas Contract Engineering Enterprises (hereinafter referred to as COECEs) , and a further insight and probe will be given to the control and avoidance of risks arising from the project financing. Such methods as literature review, cases analysis and logical reasoning are adopted during the process of study.This thesis consists of the following six parts: Chapter One covers the superficial analysis to some influential corporate financing theories so as to interpret the reason why COECEs select the Project Financing as their optimized option to be better financed in order to be more competitive in their overseas business. Chapter Two focus the relationship between the selection of Corporation financing modes and the Project Financing. Chapter Three covers the rationale of the Project Financing as well as its outstanding features, procedures and advantages and disadvantages. Chapter Four falls upon the analysis to the formation and features of the Project Financing risks for the COECEs. Chapter Five proposes some countermeasures and solutions to be taken to mitigate and prevent the COECEs project financing risks. The detailed analysis will be contributed to each kind risk therein respectively and accordingly some practicable countermeasures are to be put forward on the theoretical and practical basis...
