Research On Manufacturing Industry Upgrading In Taizhou And Its Strategy

Manufacturing is one of the main productive activities that human beings carry out to survive and develop. Because of the improvement of production organization management and manufacturing pattern, manufacturing industry and manufacturing techniques make an essential leap, and at the mean time, industrial structure upgrades for the same reason. As a result, highly developed manufacturing industry, especially advanced manufacturing technique, has become a decisive index of a nation or region's competitive power.As one of the advanced manufacturing areas in Zhejiang Province, Taizhou has cultivated some influential and distinctive manufacturing industries in interrelated fields. Through manufacturing upgrading, Taizhou will be able to catch the opportunity to develop its economy, improve its international competitive power on the basis of the present industries, and eventually build several manufacturing bases of national level.Two main factors that bring about economic development are institutional innovation and technological innovation. And the key factor of Taizhou's booming economy since Reform and Opening-up is enterprise institutional innovation based on the share cooperative system. Since the beginning of the 21st century, the development of Taizhou's economy should be considered from two aspects: First, enterprises should rely on technological progress besides constantly perfecting the shares cooperative system; On the other hand, local governments should advance the government's institutional innovation according to the rules of market economy, establish the interdynamic relation in technological progress between government and market, and arrange to drive the regional technological progress effectively.The structure of this thesis is arranged as follows:Chapter one: The exordium.
