Delayed coke is a quite mature processing technic, and it is looked as an ordinary means of deep-process. The emphasis of technology development is to optimize the operation condition, and pursue the maximal production rate, reduce the coking rate and dispose the poor operation under the condition of increasing the productivity. The net gas produced from the coking process can be made fuel and also make the material of producing hydrogen equipment. Gasolene can be make the reforming material by the process of adding hydrogen, and produce the high-octane gasoline, and also can be sale as the material of ethane; The coking diesel oil can produce the high-cetane number one by hydrofming; The coking waxen oil can be added the material of the coking equipment to increase the productivity of the gasoline and diesel oil. But the direction of coking ability change rapidly with the crude oil character deterioration. So the design and study of delayed coking engineering is a practical significance task.PM is an effective method to settle the problem. The knowledge of PM comes of the America in 40th. The theory, operation detail, software tool of PM have meet the quite mature phase through the many years development and perfect in various fields, and we can say the PM is the edge tool of completing the engineer, studying and development perfectly, and so on.This paper applying the idea of PM in design of delayed coking and so on to layout and implement the coking equipment in detail on basis of analyzing the Dongming limited company, which can make the equipment meet a upper level in environmental protection, long period run, target product yield, automated level, large design, energy cost and so on.
