Because of the development of the market economy, the housing allotment must be the currency turn and commercialization. It will encourage the reform of our country original housing allotment system. From 1980 till now, our country is in the reform that investigates the housing system continuously, through the effort of more than 20 years, the housing currency turn and commercialization becomes the predominant thought of our current housing system. The housing currency turn not only satisfies the economic reform, but also meets the fast- growth housing demand of residents. However, the housing currency turn has some problems when it turns to the low-income residents because of high building price. In the past or now, the west countries also face how to resolve the problem of residents' housing. Passed the diligent backlog of several decades, they got much precious experience. Currently, our country also faces it. I try to make some research in this aspect.The textual research purpose is, through studying the theory of housing finance, the introduction abroad development history and characteristics in the housing finance, putting forward setting up diversified system of housing finance according to the actual state of our nation. In the meantime, encourage and support housing financial creative development. The full text is divided into four parts to discuss.The first part talks about the contents and the related concepts of the housing financial system. Based on the research of the domestic and international economic scholars, through comparing the housing finance with real estate finance, this chapter gets the meaning of the housing finance, tally up the characteristics of the housing finance. The housing finance system also mainly includes: the housing financial institution, the housing margin, housing financial tools, housing financial markets.
