Corporate identity design is an important tool of making the modern enterprise successful. Traditional CIS (Corporate Identity System) design method cannot adapt the times' requirements in internet economy. Therefore, the study on the method of planning and designing ICIS is a hotpoint concerned by enterprise and academe. Based on the related research status of domestic and abroad, the method of planning and designing ICIS is studied systematically in this paper. The creative work is as follow:(1) Based on the comparison and analysis between traditional CIS and ICIS from the management mind, structure and practice flow, technique, point out that ICIS is an useful measure to build the internet image with its superior mind, extensity, cheapness, interaction, diversity and easy to evaluate.(2) 13 factors which affect the ICIS design are summarized referring to many literature, questionnaires are made and SPSS is used to cluster, 9 factors are confirmed eventually. Research on the effect factors of ICIS with structural modeling technology and build the interpretative structural modeling of ICIS plan and design system.(3) Based on the general idea of ICIS plan and design, the behavior identity system is built including the internet employee management, websites popularize, individual marketing, the comparison of e-business methods and internet public relationship. The visual identity system on the internet is also discussed from the corporate symbol, standard color and standard font. And point out that spreading internet mind by virtual community is an effective means which can strengthen the effect of ICIS design.(4) Different design methods are analyzed with AIDA model and types of consumer, including four steps which are aware, interest, desire and action and four types of consumers who are roaming, searching information, self-fulfill and seeking for belongingness.
