| Since the reform and opening, the socialist market-oriented economy and all kinds of social activities of our country are developing rapidly and presenting a picture of flourishing and prosperity under the principle of"Giving priority to efficiency without losing consideration of fairness". At the same time, the contradictions between the expansionism of the continuous great development of the regional economy and the limitation of social and natural resources are becoming increasingly acute, of which, the contradictions between land supply and land requirement in regional economy development are especially obvious. However, over a long period, many shortcomings have existed in the land use of our country such as: the low utilization ratio, the inefficient outcome and the irrational distribution of functions etc. It is the contradiction of great population with limited land in the area that requires us intensively to use every inch of land.Theoretic research and practice at home and abroad have fully proved that the economic circle is becoming the leading power affects the economic development of a region or a nation. In order to merge and make the most of the economic circle, Anhui Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government timely made a significant decisive strategic engagement to develop toward the east and speed up the merging the into Yangtze River Delta. Wuhu is situated in the southeast of Anhui Province and on the southern bank of the lower reaches of Yangtze River. It has the geographical superiority of east-oriented strategy and the radiative ability to connect with Yangtze River Delta actively. It also enjoys superiorities of seamlessly connecting with each other in location, transportation, resources, industry, market, science and education etc.Under such a background, the paper firstly looks back some theories of the regional land intensive use. Next, it makes a detailed exposition on the internal impetus and the external factors of intensive land use. Then it gives a brief introduction to the target area -----Wuhu city in AuHui Province. According to some interrelated principles on intensive land use , it constitutes the assessment indexes of intensive land use in WuHu, and separately makes selection on industry, development zone, cities and towns, and agricultural land intensive use of WuHu. At last, some advices of interrelated policies on land intensive us are put forward.The paper consists of five chapters. The first chapter----"Introduction"gives an introduction to the proposition of questions, the purpose and meaning of the research. Then it looks back on the interrelated theories home and abroad, and points out the characteristics as well as the existing problems of paper researching. The second chapter------"Fundament of Theory and Frame of Analysis"expounds five aspects including: The basic concepts of intensive land use; the connotation of regional land intensive utilization degree; the law of the progressively decreasing payment at land; theory on competitive renting; and theory on large-scale production. The third chapter----"Analysis on influential factor of regional intensive land use"is divided into two parts-the internal impetus and external factors of regional intensive land use. It contends that the collective economic effectiveness is the greatest internal impetus of regional land intensive use, and the external factors contain: the relationship between human and land; regional economy development; technological vicissitude and governmental intervention etc. In the fourth chapter covers"The assessment and principles of policy selection of regional intensive land use", in which constitutes the indexes system and points out the principles of policy selection: Insist on the principles of"Land use structure optimization";"Unified Planning";"Rigid cultivated land protection"; and"Unification between ecological performance and economic performance"etc. The fifth chapter is one of the important chapters in this paper. At last, it gives a brief introduction to WuHu in several aspects including its geographic location, topography and weather, natural resources, historic culture, and science and education, etc. Then, according to the interrelated statistic data and the contrastive analysis of materials, it points out the present situation and characteristics of regional land intensive use in WuHu. This chapter, based on the facts expounded before, makes a further research of WuHu. At last, the chapter points out the countermeasure against the industrial field, the land of development zone, agricultural field, and urban land intensive use. It also discusses the problem of agricultural field's circulation during the process of land intensive use. In the fifth chapter, the author reaches four main conclusions of the paper and proposes some advices of the interrelated policies and the main creation as well as shortcomings of the paper .As there are only a few researches on the unification of regional theories and land intensive use ,and it is difficult to collect the interrelated data, it is an arduous and challenging task to make a detailed and comprehensive study on the subject. |
