Consumer credit appeared in China several years ago. The reason behind is that residents affected by various factors changed their concepts of consumption. It makes great progress and creates profits as a new business of banks. What is more important, it expands consuming needs and causes people's living to reach a higher level. From these perspectives, consumer credit boasts huge potential. However, faced with the increasing credit risk brought about by the inefficient grip of the borrowers' information because of information asymmetry, banks have their concerns accompanied by the ascending ratio of non-performing assets. Therefore, strengthening of the sharing of the personal credit information among financial institutions is significant in the environment markets grow and that the credit business gradually takes on the trend of multi-operations. Also, it is an effective measure of reducing banks' credit risk.Firstly, the paper introduces the game of complete information and asymmetric information. I illustrate the importance of the sharing of credit information applying the theories of one-time game. Secondly, it makes a thorough study of the sharing system in the United States and Europe, and concludes some experiences. Then, it analyses the actual state and existing problems in China's credit market. Additionally, it introduces the development in the sharing of the credit information. Finally, it offers some suggestions accordingly.From this paper, the auther get two conclusions. One is that the sharing of credit information is important. It can promote the development of consumer credit. The second conclusion is that the construction of system of information sharing is a complicated work. In our country, we have consumer credit is at the initial stage. Although we can share information among banks now, but we still have a lot of work to do to make our consumer credit to make it develop faster.
