Study On Industrialization Management Of Potato In LongXi County Of GanSu Province

Because of the following characters of potato, resisting a drought, high yield, high grade and utility, potato has become one of the important and characteristic industries in the development of agricultural economy in GanSu province. GanSu province is one of the main bases of potato seed and commercial seed as well. There are superior conditions, including wide cultivating areas and strong process ability to cultivate potato in LongXi county of GanSu province, and the potato industry plays an important role in the agricultural production of the whole county. The problem is how to improve further the industrial level of potato, how to drive the development of the related industries, how to enhance the addition of potato and how to increase economic benefits, all these things are referred to development of agricultural economy in the county. Based on the industrialization management, the paper analyzes the condition of present production and process and distribution of potato in LongXi county. And many problems are pointed out. For example, small management sizes, scarce funds, single beed structures, low process abilities etc. Drawing lessons from the external and internal experiences about the industrialization management of the related farm produces, using the related theoretical knowledge and considering the present development of potato, lots of measures are brought forward. The measures are increasing funds and creating strong powerful corporations, bettering social services, dealing with the relationship between government and corporations, strengthening and completing the pattern of the industrialization management, strongly generalizing the applicable techniques, actualizing bands strategies and properly developing the base of potato seed. All of these can offer references for decision-makers in related departments on the development of potato industry.
