Strategy Performance Management System Design Of Electric Power Enterprises

Electric power is the foregoer of national economy development, providing strong motivity for the rapid progress of our country. Along with the further development of globalization, the electric power enterprises are faced with the rapidly changed factors and fierce competition. In order to adapt the reformation and development, the electric power enterprises have to create and keep high performance. Because of the longtime planned economy, the management of Chinese electric power enterprises desperately needs to be improved. It is urgent and important to set up the performance management system that adapts the characteristics of electric power enterprises.This paper studies the performance management of Henan electric power company, wants to effectively turn abstract strategy into concrete activities of the staff by means of perfect performance management so as to guarantee the successful execution of the strategy. This paper includes five aspects principally. The first part looks back the history of the reformation of electric power industry, indicates the purpose and meaning of this paper, and introduces the theory of performance management and the relationship between strategy and performance management. The second part analyses the present status of electric power enterprise, indicates the performance management difficulties of electric power enterprises, designs the strategy performance management model based on decompounding the enterprise targets and indicators. The third part designs the performance indicator system by applying BSC and KPI. In order to fulfill performance management effectively, it also studies the performance evaluation, the feedback and progress, the application of performance evaluation results, etc. The fourth part studies the additional measures of fulfilling strategy performance management and the problems that should be paid attention to while designing the strategy performance management system. The last part is the application of strategy performance management system in Henan electric power company.
