Construction market has hastened saturated in our country now, thecompetition is extremely intense, and the profit becomes the tendency that dropsyear by year. Construction enterprise faced with more and more intense marketcompetition situation after joining WTO, not only this kind of competition comesfrom the home moreover more is comes from overseas. If the constructionenterprise needs to be in an impregnable position in the new turn marketcompetition, it must adapt to change the development of market competitioncircumstances; it cultivates own core competitive power. The core of corecompetitive power is the low cost strategy. Discovered the current cost controlhas very many problems, In analyzing cost control of the construction project,Especially cost control methods is relatively backward and Crude, the empiricalingredient are too much, lacks the credible basis. If cannot carry on the effectivecost control, the prospect can be imagined. Therefore development andimprovement of cost control method architectural engineering project enhancecore competitive power of enterprise, it is very important.The paper analyzed the process management and the process managementappraisal technology, and find tradition cost control methods that is profit ordeficiency. Project management applied to construction cost control on this basis,Dividing process of the construction into process description, process diagnosis,process design, process implementation, and the process maintenance five steps.Every step carries on cost control. Then taking constructs process cost as the goal,has established the construction process achievements appraisal model. Studiedto select and gain method of appraisal index in the model, and has constructedthe process achievements appraisal index system. Then carries on the appraisal tothe above five steps of cost control, analyze appraisal result. Continuousimprovement construction process, and eventually optimize the constructionprocess and reduce the cost of construction. Finally, through examples of analysis,Process management based on the construction project cost control is used inpractice, and testifies to the utility and effectiveness of the method.
