The Comparative Research On Construction And Manufacturing Supply Chain Management Based On Electronic Commerce

For long times, construction industry is the trade with concentrated labors. Since China acceded to WTO, the construction industry faced the pressure coming from global competition, and the requirement for improving the core competitive ability is more and more urgent. However, the key to solve the problem is to increase enterprise's management ability and technology ability by taking full use of high tech. In recent years, supply chain management has become an advanced enterprise management model, and received remarkable results when it was applied. Therefore, to realize the rapid development in construction industry, supply chain management is an effective management model.By the comparative analysis method, this paper analyzes the implementing situation of supply chain management in both manufacturing industry and construction industry, which forms reference for construction industry to implement supply chain management in operating model and process by drawing the experience in manufacturing industry.Based on the related theory about supply chain management in manufacturing industry, starting from the constitution of supply chain, this paper studies the cooperative relationship management and the management for main process in both manufacturing industry and construction industry, then analyzes the possibility of implementing supply chain management in construction industry by combining the common ground and the difference between the two industries. On the basis above, the author analyzes the develop tend of construction supply chain management, then presents the integrated construction supply chain management model, which is composed of technology supporting system and operating process management. Finally, this paper puts forward four main steps to implement the integrated construction supply chain management model, and analyzes the key factors to achieve the goal. It supplies reference for construction industry to implement supply chain management.
