The financial holding company(FHC) achieves a kind of synergetic effect of mutual resource and predominance by the amalgamation of institution and operation. At the same time FHC produces many risks and ventures because of the complexity of its corporation framework, interior control and relationship trade. Especially,the existing laws and rules in china cannot adapt to FHC.The thesis studies the risk management of FHC,it is not only theoretically valuable but also meaningful to government policy and the operation of FHC.The thesis explicates the causes of the risks of FHC,the development puzzles, risk behavior and causes of Chinese FHC, points out that the main causes of the risks are attributed to the financial fragility, the inherent drawback of FHC and the factor of economy-system revolution.Especially, the last one occupies Chinese feature. Based on the interior control theory,the investment portfolio theory and the government regulatory theory by linking the characteristics of risks of Chinese FHC.The thesis shows a full and particular illustration on how to dominate the risks and ventures from the aspects of macro-regulation and micro-management.The article indicates that the frame of Chinese financial legal system adopts the segregated operation and regulatory,which is attributed to the factor of economy-system revolution.and the system risks can be controlled by reconstructing and consummating the systems. The main conclusions are as follows:Dominating the finance system risks by modulating economic policies, consummating the laws and rules of joint-operation and the financial regulatory system from the aspects of macro-regulation and micro-management are contributed to efficiently controlling the risks and ventures of Chinese FHC.
