At present, China's land management of the urban-rural areas still have many shortcomings and will constraint and affect the process of urbanization. This paper is based on our present situation and development trend of urbanization, analysis the current situation of the urban-rural area, and the urban-rural area of land ownership, land plan and land transformation, as well as which problems our country the land requisition system to have, it may be profit from place through to the comparisons about domestic's and foreign's. To use land reasonably, the urban-rural area should be properly evaluated before the land expropriation, the higher suitability as agricultural land should be first used to agricultural land, the lower suitability as agricultural land will be conversed to construction land. Established scientific system for assessing the value of land in the urban-rural area, reasonably determined the value of land. In the course of requisition land, the peasants who lose their land will be given reasonable compensation, the paper gives some suggestions about the land management of the urban-rural areas, and it will be promoted the urban-rural, social harmony and development.
