Study On Taiyuan Iron & Steel Group ERP Project

The steel industry is China's basic industry, is the impact of China's national economic development an important industry. With the development of the times, especially in the economic globalization and the coming of the WTO, China's steel enterprises are faced with tremendous changes in the environment industry. China's iron and steel industry in the real sense an era of competition has arrived, the Chinese steel industry should not blindly pursue the growth of output, but by the need to move to big to strong changes. In this process, the restructuring of enterprises, the readjustment of the product mix is inseparable from the support of information technology. China's iron and steel industry need to actively promote the use of information technology and automation technology, the creation of steel enterprise information system, help enterprises to achieve high efficiency in production management and technological innovation, a positive response from the variety, quality, services related to the diversification of competitive pressures.This paper based on the Taiyuan Iron and Steel Group ERP Project studying,via the external environment and internal environment analyzing, use SWOT's way of analysis and study on enterprises of ERP implementation for the need; Meanwhile from the Taiyuan Iron and Steel Group's sales, production, material, quality, and financial management of the status quo business model for analysis, with its overall design principles and design ideas, Taiyuan Iron and Steel Group to conduct certain business functions and organizational changes with changes in specific business model for the optimization strategy ERP study in the implementation of the enterprise value.Hope that through this exposition, to be prepared to implement other ERP enterprise, or has been applied ERP enterprise useful.
