Abstract/Summary:
In recent years, with the China's entrance of WTO and opening of the inspection market in China, more and more oversea inspection companies are coming into China for competition. It is both the opportunities and the challenges for China commodity inspection authorities.Instructed by strategic management theory, supported by some successful experiences of overseas enterprises and by means of Poter's Five-Forces Model and SWOT analysis method, this paper deeply analyzes the outer environment of the inspection market in Dalian area. Meanwhile, the paper also analyzes the inner resources of Dalian ChengTai Inspection and Survey Company (under LiaoNing CIQ). The inner resources of the company include the organizational structure, the mode of management, special resources and abilities. Then this paper gives a series of the instruction guidance on competitive strategy of the inspection company under the opening market. Finally the paper puts forward three strategic objectives on different time period and focus on all steps during the implementation period. The author hopes to find out some detail measurements on improving the competitive ability of the researched company. The text can be used as the reference on formulation of competitive strategy of the other inspection company in China, it can also be used as the theoretical principle on the future development of DaLian CHT Inspection and Survey company.The paper have six chapters, the first chapter is the brief introduction. It tells us the background, significance and the structural flow chart of the research. The second chapter introduces the outer environmental analysis. By listing in details each factors of outer environment, we can see the threats and opportunities of the environment. Then the third chapter gives the explanation on inner resources, the aim of inner environment analysis is to find out the strength and weakness of the company. The forth and the fifth parts of the paper are the formulation, implementation and control measurements of each competitive strategy. By means of SWOT analysis Model, the paper further analyze and induce both the outer and inner environment of the company, so as to get four strategies( that is SO, WO, ST, WT strategies) in four quadrants. In this way, the strategic objective and the key emphases on different time period can be defined. In order to ensure the effective implementation of the strategy, a set of measurements will be taken, such as building up modern enterprise system and other relative methods on the marketing, human resource, culture ,unit structure etc.
