The Demonstration Research On The Technological Innovation Capability Of Equipment Manufacturing Industry In Anhui Province

The equipment manufacturing industry offers the technological equipment to the national economic industries in the processes of simple reproduction and expended reproduction. It is the base of economic development of a country or a district, the source of competing force and driving the development of relevant industries. As the industry of technological concentrating, technological innovation capability is vital for the survival and development of the equipment manufacturing industry.This article summarizes the domestic and foreign .theories about technological innovation, clustering innovation and technological innovation capability evaluating the first, then construct the technological innovation models for enterprise and industry separately. Based on the models, the article analyses the interior and exterior factors which influence industry technological innovation capability. The interior factors are the technological innovation decision-making capability, R&D input, the whole technical level of the industry and the number of patents. The exterior factors are policy environment, technological innovation mechanism, agency, public scientific research institutions and industry structures. Based on the analysis of the factors influencing technological innovation capability, an appraisal target system of industry technological innovation capability is established. This article presents the demonstration research on technological innovation capability of equipment manufacturing industry in Anhui province by using the system and data from publication. The research result shows that the communication and transportation equipment manufacturing division has the best technological innovation capability among all divisions of equipment manufacturing industry in Anhui province. Only the communication and transportation equipment manufacturing division and electrical equipment manufacturing division's technological innovation capability are better than the national average level.
