The Study Of 'Catching-up' Regional Economic Development

The theory of regional economic plays an important and constructive role in impelling the economic developments of each country. And it is proved to be effect during the practicing. Basing on the regional economics theory, this article focus on the applicable and practicable research through reasonable extending. By method of combining nature and quantity, criterion and demonstration, this article adopting catching-up region developing mode as the theory model, analyzes and assess the catching-up region economic development by taking example of JiangXi Province. According to the regional economics theory and relevant theories of develop economics and industrial economics, in this article it is brought forward some strategic direction and measures to promote the economic development of 'catching-up region'. What's more, considering the present economic of JiangXi, this article gives some advice for JiangXi's economic development which could also be the theory reference for other similar regions who are catching-up the developed cities.The article has six parts:The first part is introduction. Here introduces the background and purpose of the article, present status of the research in the world, the frame of the whole article and the definition for the 'catching-up' region.The second part is about some relevant concept and theory introduction on 'catching-up' regional economic development. At first this part describes the regional economics theory by the numbers. Then it deeps into the develop mode of a special region ' catching-up' region. At the same time it introduces the relevant theories of develop economics and industrial economics.The third part is to give orientation to JiangXi regional economic. Through the analysis of JiangXi's economic condition, economic development, historical and realistic factors which affect the economic development, in one hand this part contrasts with the average of the whole country's economic and considers JiangXi to a 'catching-up' region. In the other hand, this part contrasts with coastal developed cities and central five provinces, gives some strategic target and measures that optimizing industrial structure through system innovation.Through the above analysis, the fourth part is strategic orientation.The fifth part is suggestion of development. This is the most important part in the article, is focus on the measures that would help to promote JiangXi's development. For example, strengthening the construction of industrial park, developing characteristic agriculture, introducing green GDP assessment system and so on.The sixth part is the conclusion and some existent problems.
