The Evolution Of Japanese Banking System And Its Enlightenment To China's Financial System

Study about Japanese main bank system has been going with Japan's economy up and down. Because of economy development miracle of Japan, researchers all over the world paid much attention on issues about Japanese financial system and institutions, especially main bank system. Scholars of China study more about this problem as similar cultural background of China and Japan. But main bank system has been blamed since Japan economy bubble collapsed in 1990s, and researchers switched much attention to negative performance of main bank system. As development of institutional economics these years, main bank system becomes an excellent example for studying about institution development process. This paper tries to analyze performance of main bank system, according to its development from forming to down. Most important point is suggestions to China's financial reform according to this study.There are five parts in this paper. In first part, I state significance of studying this subject and list important studies and views related, and also introduce structure of this article.PartⅡanalyzes development of Japanese main bank system.
