The percentage of China's Small & Medium-Scaled Enterprises in all of corporations is 90%, 60% of the industry production value and 40% of the tax are created by them. Present-day, Chinese Small & Medium-Scaled Enterprises are becoming the indispensable impetus of Chinese economy. However, problems of stringency, block of communications, manufacture of semiworks, shortage of human resource and relationship of market are restricting the development of them, in the area of infomationization specially. ASP (Application Service Provider) is designed to solve problems of infomationization during Small & Medium-Scaled Enterprises building it. According to the ASP entering time of Chinese market is not so long that course most of people do not know it well and many literatures studying a lot of ASP's applications in different areas compare with the research of ASP's risk and risk avoiding. The dissertation based on the studying of ASP's application model and the risk avoiding of it would be signify for the extendibility and application of ASP.Firstly, the dissertation described the reason of the forming of ASP model from angles of technical development and demands of corporation, summarized and analyzed the ASP's conception, application model, characters, advantages and the difference between ASP model and IT BOP.Secondly, the dissertation bring forward the measure of risk avoiding after analyzed ASP depending on theories of informationization of enterprise and corporation risk management. According to the opinion of author, both of corporations and service providers are facing risks, companies might face risks of technique, the security of credit, losing control of operations, the decision-making of BOP, the influence of human resource and the raising of cost, service providers might face risks of authorization of enterprises, developing internet, shortages of software and hardware's resource, the union of suppliers and the level of capital management. Therefore corporations should avoid risks from angles of the decision-making, the choosing of service providers, signing up contracts, BOP management and employee management depending on the situation.
