The International Political-Economics Of East Asian Currency Cooperation

The article reviews the process of the East Asian currency cooperation. The author tries to discuss the ASEAN, Japan, Korea and China's national benefits in the cooperation, and how the national benefits shape and influence their attitudes and assertions to the cooperation. In the article, author tries to give a new explanation to the East Asian currency cooperation from International political-economics theory and reality level, and analyses and compares the East Asian currency cooperation with Euro path and US dollars path in Latin American countries. At the end of the article, it points out that there are three important conditions for East Asia to promote the level of regional currency cooperation: strengthening the regional consciousness, accelerating the regional economic integration, and the coordinating on higher degree on politics.
