Shanghai Volkswagen is a famous Sino-Germany Joint Venture in China. From its establishment in 1985, SVW launched Santana, Passat, Polo, and Touran in the past 20-year development history. All the products played an important role in Chinese automotive market.In order to advance the market share of SVW, SVW combined with SVW Sales Co. from 2004. The changes of sales mode ask for upgrade of the organization structure of Sales Division, so the organization faces the insistent demand to change.Based on current management situation, this thesis gives the optimization suggestions to improve the organization system of SVW Sales Division. Referring to the organization design experience of Sales Division of the multinational and domestic excellent automotive company, we hope we could provide a new organization structure, which is clear, rational, effective and efficient.The chapter one introduced the background of SVW and the study logic and methods briefly. The chapter two compared the organization system of Sales Division of domestic automotive company with that of expatriate company, and talked with the effect from the relationship of produce andsales to organization design. The chapter three introduces the history of Sales Division of SVW and the disadvantages of it at present. The chapter four gives the basic issues about the optimization of the organization through the analysis to the strategy objectives and critical business procedures. And the last chapter is the key of this thesis. The chapter brings forward the optimization scheme to the organization of SVW Sales Division and detailed introduction about the scheme. At same time, it concludes the implementation suggestions to the optimization of the organization. The article starts from current cases, and gives the optimization suggestions under the new sales mode. It would be helpful for SVW to reply the drastic competition and upgrade the market share at present. Because of the limitation of staffing, performance management and customer retaining, the optimization suggestions should come to reality and bring good results after some amendment according to the actual situation of SVW.
