The Restructure Of The Transnational Corporations' Boundary In The New Economy

Along with the deep-going of global economy, transnational corporations have become the most important and most active subject in world economy. Recent years, on one hand, since the knowledge of economy keeps increasing and the assets restriction boost up, in order to build the strategy dominance and to stimulate the output and technology transform, mergers and acquisitions between transnational corporations become a tendency. A lot of transnational corporations try to reconstruct their boundary and adjust their scale so that they can occupy the foreign markets and assets as well as transaction costs internalization. On the other hand, a lot of developed countries'(like USA) transnational corporations reduce their boundary and scale through subcontracting and asset-selling, only to maintain their core technologies and core operations.This article apply the research policy of combining theory analysis and positive analysis, and combining historic analysis and practical analysis, put the equilibrium analysis of neoclassical economics into the dynamic optimized analysis of the transnational corporations' boundary and scale change; put the game theory into the analysis of alliance strategy of transnational corporations; build the superior chosen model of transnational corporations selecting the goal enterprise in the transnational M&A through the analytic hierarchy process (AHP);use the factor analysis to validate the effect of corporation's performance which brought from transnational M&A; take the case analytic method to validate the pressure of transnational corporation implement boundary restructure, then analysis the transnational corporation that implements the boundary restructuring strategy under the competition pressure and the enterprise ability in the neoeconomic environment.The study with restructure of transnational corporation's boundary is a hotspot in the present, in the begin of this paper, it introduced and analysised the correlation theories of enterprise boundary and transnational corporation; secondly, aiming at the neoeconomic environment, the paper analyzed the change and development of enterprise boundary of the vast company just like transnational corporation, from the angles of IT technology utilization, the change of transaction costs and stratagem alliance to demonstrate the trend of dynamic and blur of transnational corporation's boundary; afterwards, start with the nature of transnational corporation, throughstudying the path of transnational corporation expand to other countries especially take the dominating modes of transnational M&A, outsourcing, stratagem alliance into discussing how to implement the boundary restructure stratagem of transnational corporation, and then chose a M&A case which has most influential in our country that named of Lenovo M&A the globe PC department of IBM for analysis, in the end, get the conclusion and the enlightenment.
