| Infrastructures are closely related to economy, social welfare and environment. More attention placed on the increasingly role in the economic development by many governments and economists. With infrastructure investment and construction in Anhui Province in the background, theoretical analysis and empirical research the role of infrastructure investment in economic growth. Author adopts the analytic method that is a logic analysis from theory to action, from abstract to concrete in the essay.A large number of theoretical studies and experience show that infrastructure services play a very important role in promoting economy to a long-term steady growth. This paper defined the attributes of infrastructure, qualitative analysis of infrastructure investment and economic growth in general, studied how infrastructure promote economic growth in the investment stage and capital formation stage, and establish a economic growth model.Anhui Province located in the central region of China, which has been constrained by infrastructure "bottlenecks" for a long time, and still is in the low level of economic development in the central region today. When entering the new century, our country began to fulfil the strategies of "rising of the central region," which is a critical period of development. So Anhui's infrastructure construction ushered in rare development opportunity. Therefore it is necessary to conduct a detailed investigation into the status of infrastructure, clarify the status and its total investment, the investment structure and other issues.This paper analyzes the flow of investment in infrastructure and capital stock of economic growth mechanism, and major econometric analyzes the function that Anhui's infrastructure investment promotes economy to increase. On this basis, we put forward some advices such as increasing infrastructure investment continually, strengthening infrastructure maintenance, hoping to provide practical information for anthorities and investors. |
