As the backbone industry of China national economy, the development of iron and steel industry has been involving with the development and construction in many national fields. First, the thesis points out the research aim and meanings in the introduction, and gives a summary on the current research situation both from home and abroad; secondly, it sets forth the relative theory on the partner of supply chain in the second chapter, via the analysis of core competitive power, continuous changing customer's desire and outsourcing strategy of supply chain partners, it draws forth the development and application of supply chain management in iron and steel industry will be directly related with the development of domestic steel market as well as the competitive position of our country on international market. Forging modern iron and steel logistics, constructing supply chain for iron and steel logistics enterprises, forming the core competitive power of iron and steel enterprises has become one of the main points of national development. Next, in the third chapter, the author analyzes the current situation of national steel market, there is no integral and mature plan for steel logistics, there is no integral layout, the development is unbalanced, many techs are not harmonized, the layout is not reasonable, the management of professional logistics is out of date, the logistics talents are insufficient, the degree of information networking is low, the information transfer is unitary, the cost of logistics is high and the competition of logistics market is disordered. Whereas, the domestic steel enterprises start constructing steel supply chain, the author thinks the construction of supply chain of steel logistics enterprise should be firstly started from iron and steel enterprises themselves. Building the inner information network system, reforming organizational structure, matching the personnel properly, optimizing process, shaping a smooth internal logistics, innovating technology and forming the core competitive power; secondly, with a principle of reorganization or integration of upper and lower reaches to select the appropriate supply chain partners according to the development strategy of enterprise. The fourth chapter of the thesis makes a comprehensive analysis based on an actual steel enterprise case, the organizational structure reform is to make preparation for the construction of supply chain; the construction of informationization is to make preparation for two-way communication of information; the selection of partners is to guarantee the capital needed in long-term and stable development; the processing of reinforced steel bar and the construction of storage platform is to enhance the position of enterprise in the competition and to meet customers' demand; for the analysis of core competitive power, it is presented on six aspects, such as customized service, administrators with high quality, scientific management and so on to discuss the construction process of supply chain for steel logistics enterprise. It also puts forward a method for constructing the supply chain for our national iron and steel logistics enterprises and problems that should be given attention to.There are 7 figures and 21 referenced documents in this thesis.
