Finance is the core of the modern economy, money is the blood of the economy, and so bank is the blood vessel which to make the blood flow, nowadays in our country under the bank-leading indirect financing model the bank-efficiecy relates wether the national economy healthily develops and wether the national policy efficiently implements. This article chooses the data of 13 banks from 1997 to 2005, and takes two methods including financial analysis and DEA analysis to compare and study the efficiency of our bank industry.The article mainly arranges below:The frist part is the introduction.The second part is the theory analysis of the bank efficiency including two parts theory analysis and the literature summarize of the commercial bank efficiency.The third part is the method of financing analysis of commercial bank including theory part and empirical part. The theory part includes the evolution of the financing method and index. In the financing method, I choose the Wall Evaluating Method, and mainly consider four ingredients: the profitability the venture the liquidity and the capital structure which effect the bank efficiency. In the empirical part, I analyse the financial rate and performance level of 13 banks from 1998 to 2005.The fourth part is the DEA method of commercial bank study including the theory part and the fourth part. In the theory part, I introduce four models of the empirical method, C~2R model super-efficiency model BC2 model NIRS model and Malmquist index, in the empirical part I test the 13 banks' four efficiency level and Malmquist index, Malmquist index is the upswing of the DEA model, from static state to dynamic state.The fifth part is the conclusion and policy suggestion.
