The period of the Eleventh Five-Year Plan is a critical phase to lay a solid foundation for the development of China's new socialistic countryside and a critical phase to accelerate the construction of a well-of society in an all-round way. Only if rural residents have a well-of life can we expand domestic demand and promote sustainable development of our national economy. During this critical period, it is of great importance to attention on the consumption demand of the rural residents. Particularly, it is important to scientifically in order to guide their consumption toward analyze and evaluate their consumption high level.The thesis is guided under consumption theory and based on summarizing consumption demand. Deep analysis is carried out about the consumption demand of Guangxi rural residents derived from consumption level and composition. The function of the consumption demand of Guangxi rural resident and ECM model is founded. The numerical relationship between income and consumption is quantitatively analyzed. In the end, the relative factors that impact the consumption demand of Guangxi rural residents are studied and relevant suggestion is carried out in order to conduct and promote peasants' consumption in reason. It is the drawn conclusion that: As economy develops and income increases, the consumption level of rural residents is improving significantly. Consumption composition is improved gradually. Co-integration relation between the income and consumption of Guangxi rural residents is existed. Income,consumption surroundings,custom and uncertain anticipation are important factors that hat impact the consumption demand of Guangxi rural residents. Some policy suggestion is carried out such as: increase peasants' income and reducing their burden; normalizing rural market; Changing peasants' dated consumption tradition and habits.
