With agriculture entering a new development stage, the output of main agricultural products increases continuously in Jilin province, appears the basic balance between supply and demand of agricultural products, even the temporary situation of the supply excess for a few agricultural products. Actively to develop the processing industry of agricultural products for realizing the conversion and increment of agricultural products has become the valid path to resolve the"agriculture, countryside and farmer"problems, it is also a key means to increase international competitiveness of agriculture and to improve food safety. However, the ability of agricultural product processing in Jilin is lowly with large difference from other provinces. So Jilin only completely promotes her ability of technology innovation of agricultural product processing, her agricultural product processing industry could develop quickly. This thesis is divided into totally six parts:The first part, the introduction chooses a background in analyzing the existing research characteristics and needing to study on the problem foundation, pointing out research purpose and necessary , theories, clarifying main contents and the point problems of research. The second part, this paper started with the theories of technology innovation, reviewed correlative study in home and abroad and analyzed its current situation and shortcomings deeply. Then the author putted forward the notion of this study and establishes the foundation for qualitative, quantitative study. On the base of current theories, the author has made an in-depth discussion on the industrial technology, innovation. Then, the part putted forward the meaning of technology innovation of the agricultural product processing according to the standpoints of technology innovation about domestic and international authors and considering the particularity of agricultural product processing industry. The element of innovation capability of agricultural product processing included:Input Output Technical-innovation Supporting Ability. The third part, it described the current conditions and problems of the agricultural product processing in Jilin province, analyzed the reasons of falling behind the developed countries, and brought forward the total models and strategy, or developing the agricultural product processing in China. The total models of technology innovation of agricultural product processing is that the government guiding, the market predominant, the technique supplies and demand driving each other, the government, producing, teaching and researching combines together, through the way that technique adopting to usher in, digesting and absorbing combine together, realize the span absolutely with opposite span to proceed together. The fourth parts, analyzing the current situation of innovation ability of agricultural product processing in Jilin province from macro inspect. Using principal component analysis technique and SPSS12.0 software, this paper scores, classifies and sequences innovation ability for 11 provinces of China. From this we can derive questions in Jilin innovation capability of agricultural product processing, so that some actions are put forward to boost up innovation capability. Finally, through discussing the result of the agricultural product processing program, the paper put forward five support systems to improve the ability of technology innovation of agricultural product processing in Jilin province, these are government and policy support system, investing and financing system, the research and development system, the quality guarantees and inspecting system, and the talented person education system.
