This thesis analyzed the motives and trends of M&A in telecom equipment manufactory industry. The analysis of motives is based on external market scan and internal development strategy of each stakeholder in M&A practices. The driven force of M&A in telecom sector is mixed by the transform of telecom market competition pattern, the demands of market power towards operators and the expected synergy efforts from vendors'internal points of view.With the sector integrations, top 3 vendors will own 80%+ market share and cost advantage, in virtue of the large scale. The centralized segment will comes to fragmental again, till traditional IT companies join into competition, accompanying the innovation of communication technologies.Global M&A practices bring big challenges towards China new emerged vendors, like HuaWei and ZTE. Establishing strategic alliance or proactively involve in industrial integration should be taken into account, and take reactions rapidly. |
