Research And Suggestions On The Regulation Of Value-Added Services In China

The rapid development of value-added services is one of the most important impetuses to the increase of the revenue of telecommunication industry in China. Consequently, it's of great significance to make sure the value-added services develop fast and sound. Considering the development situation of value-added services market, the article analyzes the regulation system and elaborates the existing problems in the regulation at present. After introducing some other countries' experiences in value-added services regulation, this article gives out some suggestions systematically on improving the regulation according to the realities in China. Emphasis is put on the building up of license management information system, Monitoring system and some other measures that contributes to the improvement of the regulation of value added services.
