China has consumed the most copper, steel, ironstone, soybean and caoutchouc, and China also is the second most country that consumes and imports crude oil. In 2006, the total amount of imports and exports in China has been 1760 billion dollars so that China ranks NO.3 in the world. However, China has not won the pricing right corresponding, just price taker. And in the trade of crude oil, China lost much because of lack of pricing right. In 2005, China has paid extra 15 billion dollars for importing crude oil. So in this thesis, we study the international pricing right on crude oil for China. By analyzing the reason why China lose the pricing right, we can take measure to win the right, and it also will be helpful for other goods winning the pricing right. It is necessary for China to win the pricing right, if we want to be the strong trade nation. This is the purpose of the thesis.The empirical analysis method and quantitative analysis method have been applied in the paper. In the basic of the narrative the overview of international pricing system in crude oil and the lack of pricing right in crude oil of China, we analysis the reason of scarcity in pricing right, and try to find the method.It is based on DIP model to analyze the reason of scarcity in pricing right of crude oil including international price factor, demand factor and status factor in the thesis. The thesis explores the policy on winning pricing right. And the thought of balance fund for crude oil is given first, it can beat the speculator efficiently.It is a fact that our country has no pricing right, so studying pricing right of crude oil has realistic significance in the way to trade power. And it will be helpful for China becoming the strong nation in trade.
