The depending environment of the corporations is changing constantly, so the corporations must adjust strategies in time and transform based on own actual conditions. Corporation transformation usually means from intrinsic industry to an new industry, or from old market and products to new ones, and the purpose of transformation is promising the corporation constant development or surviving by searching for new profit increasing area. From 1960s to 1980s,the enterprise environment has been regarded as the basic decisive factors, and that forming industrial organization model explain the decisive influence of environment on corporation strategies, emphasize on the key of corporation strategies is choosing an attractive industry to operate, and the high profit is decided by environment characteristics. Therefore, the key point of corporation strategies choosing is the proper industry positioning after analyzing the industrial environment. In other word ,weather the corporation strategies transformation could be succeed is properly choose and position in the reasonable and high profit potential industry, that is the environment is the decisive factors.The industry choosing of corporation should correctly analyses the industrial attractiveness while enter at a properly opportunity, in order to improve own competitiveness. This paper expounds on the meanings of strategy transformation, and expatiate the corporation strategic transformation mechanic, and researches on the environment, factors, decisions, direction and methods of strategic transformation. According to industrial attractiveness and corporation competitiveness, separately established industrial attractiveness and corporation competitiveness indexes system. Based on subjective analysis and quantitative analysis, using analytic hierarchy process established industrial choosing model, then order the industries according to the relative data calculating, furthermore put forward the industrial choosing methods. This paper analyses the process of strategic transformation through the research on corporation strategic transformation. Combining with case study in this paper, aim to stand on a strategic view, research on the model and methods from practice combining with strategic management theory in the process of strategic transformation. In the last chapter of this paper make a demonstration on COFCO international strategic transformation, analyzing the COFCO industrial choosing in the strategic transformation.
