The compensation management of overseas oil project is related to many factors. It is a complicated part of project management. Though concerning rules and regulations have been made, there are still few principles of overseas oil project compensation management covering environmental factors and contract factors, which may result in lack of fairness among project team members, and have negative effects on the operation of the project.This thesis sets out to provide constructive advice on compensation management of overseas oil projects. The analysis is based on human resource management theory, compensation management theory and rules in oil companies. The article mainly includes four parts :(1) a brief commentary on the status quo of overseas oil project compensation management (2) qualitative analysis on environmental factors and contract factors (3) quantitative analysis with Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) (4) advice on how to improvement overseas oil project compensation management.Factors influencing overseas oil project are divided into 2 categories: factors concerning host country environment and factors concerning oil contracts. AHP method is used to quantify the influence of these factors and advice are given on the foundation of the results. |
