Therefore, it is a crucial means to promote the enterprises'safeproduction level and increase economic benefits by emphasizing safety investment andexecutingitappropriatelywithgoodreasons.This thesis has a number of purposes. It starts with the investigation into the interrelationship between safety investment and safety benefits of petroleum enterprises,and makes analysis of the safety hazards existing in the present safe production situations.Then it makes economic assessment of the safety investment decision-making techniquesby means of qualitative and quantitative analyses, and obtains the effectiveness features ofsafety investment. In the following, the thesis makes profound researches into the featuresof safety investment so as to figure out the measurement method of the safety benefits ofpetroleum engineering as well as the corresponding appraisal method for safety benefits.Then by utilizing the mathematic methods such as operational research, sequentialanalytical method, etc., on the basis of the conclusion of the interrelationship betweensafety investment and safety benefits, the thesis establishes a reasonable model of safetyinvestment. Finally this thesis offers some propositions and suggestions to the safetymanagementworkforthepetroleumenterprisesaftermodel-testingandcaseanalysisonthebasisoffielddatacollection.
