The service industry is the inevitable result that the economic culture of human society developed into certain stage, closely related to china's economic growth, economic structural improvement, is of great significant issues in china's economic development. The strategy of eleventh "five years plan" about our country's economic and society development has been passed by the fourth session of the tenth CPC in 2006. The strategy clearly takes a proposal to upgrade the development speed of china's service industry, insist on the development direction of marketing,industrialization and socialization, improve structural, boost function to raise the proportion and the capacity level of service industry. The strategy focus on improving community service, its purpose is to convenience people's life, stresses the homemaking development,caring the old and young,foodstuff transportation and repairing. From these documenta, we can see that it has become an important task to develop new style service industry and build new service forms, its purpose is to resolve problem of industry development and build up harmony society. Homemaking industry as one of the new service indusrty gets more and more attention by researchers due to great capacity of absorbing labour forces. How to resolve the unemployment of city and town in order to explode the potential of service industry. How to improve the inside structural about service industry. So, it is meaningful for us to answer the question such as how to resolve unemployment and how to improve the structural of service industry.This text is divided into six chapters totally. Chapter one is the summary and basic thesis, it has studied the intension, nature, position, thesis about industry structural and inside structural evolvement. Chapter two is to analyze the status and the function of service on economic growth, its focus on improving structural,upgrade economic growth and reduce the unemployment in city and town. Chapter three is to analyze the homemaking service development situation for Chengdu case as its example. The text is from three aspects to do demonstration research.
