| China’s economic growth has surprised the world since China’s reform and opening up. Accompanied with the high speed growth, and became an important driver of economic growth is a structural change, especially the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure.As the most advantaged province in the western region, with the development of the Western Region of Deep and the strategy of "Dual-Drive" deep propulgion in Guangxi, the economic has developed rapidly. The industrial layout is also constantly improving, especially in service industry overall weight increasd, and the optimization of the internal structure. But economic growth in Guangxi rely mainly on the second industry, particularly on the traditional energy and heavy chemical industry.Modern service industry and service industry is in the serious lag. Based on the above background, the article explores the relationship between service industry and economic growth in Guangxi, exploring optimization services elements concentration and the allocation of resources, mechanism and countermeasures of regional internal impetes driving economic growth.This paper builds the measurement model based on analysis of problem-oriented. First of all, to study the relationship between the intensity of Guangxi service industry and the economic growth. Secondly, conduct the Granger-Causality test between the two. The empirical results show that:During the transition in the service industry in Guangxi from the low-intensity gradually to the high-intensity, this promotes the development of the economic level in Guangxi; However, in a short time the economic growth in Guangxi did not upgrade the internal structure of service industry.Then, this paper uses Data Envelopment Analysis model(DEA), firstly uses the service industry related index as input indicators, economic development level index as output index, explores service-industry overall input-output efficiency, and then compared this result with the other provinces in China. The conclusion is:The drive of the overall level of economic development in Guangxi is not high, there exists a phenomenon:Lack of service-industry inputs and services-inputs failed to make full use of. Next, clarifying the internal structure of service-industry of Guangxi by element density, specific studies the labor-intensive consumer-services, and capital, technology and knowledge intensive producer-services. Computing the two types of service labor and fixed assets investment and economic growth of output of input-output efficiency and make a comparison. This part concludes:The ability to drive economic growth in Guangxi differs between the different-intensive factors in services departments. Mainly Labor-intensive consumer-services of driving ability is better than producer-services on economic growth.Finally suggestions are put forward. One is to expand the scale of service industry in order to cater to economic growth situation; Including industrial agglomeration strategy to expand the scale of service industry and increase the fiscal and financial support. The second is to continue to develop labor-intensive service industry, alleviateing the pressure of the economic transition period. Third is the development of emerging service industry to drive the economic development, including support emerging consumer services, and promote coordinated economic development and vigorously develop knowledge-intensive producer services, technology, foster new economic growth point. Four is to implement services policy of opening to the outside world and actively integrated into the " One Belt and One Road", through chances of economic growth in Guangxi, including the development of transportation industry and development of trade in services. |
